Sunbirds

Some pictures of sunbirds from the weekend down at Smitswinkel Bay. The Aloes were in full flower and we had three species of sunbirds buzzing around all weekend.

Ok, these are not sunbirds but rather a pair of the endangered African Oystercatchers.
My favorite shore birds.

And just for good measure, a picture of Tessa seconds before a big fat noseprint on my lens.

Hey guys, Nice sunbirds. I saw my first sunbird here in Australia about 2 weeks ago. They are beautiful.
