Olympic National Park

We met up with Team Jamper in a small diner in Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula. Exactly the sort of place you might expect to find them in. We planned to spend 3 days walking in the ONP. After getting outside of some grease and making plans, we headed into the northern side of the park for a hike.

The "harrowing" road to the trailhead. We kept calm by
munching hippie trail-food and Skittles.

On the trail

Looking towards Mount Olympus in the distance. A beautiful vista, but it loses points for some seriously unlandable terrain.

Matt finding a moment of zen on the scree.

Canadian clouds rolling in.

As it got later, the clouds started to flow up and over the ridge and we
walked back to the car, drifting in and out of the clouds. Beautiful.
